Back to Thailand, where a new chapter begins

Waking up from a long dream I found myself again on Qatar Airways' flight to Bangkok. What a year! I earned a lot, but I had to wake up, because this time I want to settle down, menaning a job, what I choose, and a place where I want to live long term. In order to do that I need a clear mind. Isn't it the best way I could relax? Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia. They sound so exotic. I'm sure I'll find myself on this path.
So I locked my safety belt, listened to the safety demonstration and enjoyed my 2 free seats beside me. Isn't it better then first class? Such a big space for the almost 6 hours long journey! And again, I'm thankful for my life that I could afford such wings to fly for my dreams. I was prepared with some reading, music, movies, but nothing came out from my package, just enjoyed letting my frustrations go.

6 hours were just gone, we landed in Doha, the capital of Qatar. I wish one day I could work there, as it is such a beautiful country - as far as I found out from the airport. I wanted to stay longer in that stunning ariport, where there is no dust, everything is perfectly designed and makes sense. To be honest I wouldn't miss a chance to visit its bathroom (I felt like a queen there!). When I couldn't have been even happier, a handsome guy just stopped me to admire my trousers from India. So I was in heaven. Then I took my seat on the second, bigger plane - again, no neigbours. Yes!

Suddenly, in the middle of the night, and the flight, the charming stewardess brought me a "mate". A girl, with alcohol odour. OMG! I was shocked! Is that serious?! Why did she chose me?! Anyway, my new neigbour didn't seem to be too happy to sit beside me at all, she was really grumpy, and because of the smell I was sure she was drunk. So I had two options.
1.) Ignore her for the rest of the flight.
2.) Welcome her, and see what happens.
I chose the second option, as I couldn't see she will find her place at all. So I put my hand on her shoulder and asked her if she was ok. And she looked at me with her big, innocent blue eyes, which were bagging for sympathy, and without words, she started to cry. That was surprising.
We didn't speak any common language. She was French, speaking only French, which I didn't, so we expressed ourselves with our minimal word-kit learned from the ingredients on tinned fish or a bottle of champagne.
Her name was Zoe. She worked as a nurse and this was her first travel. I bet she was around 24. The reason of her frustration was that her neigbour drank too much, and he poured the last glass of red wine fully on her, covering her denim coat, jeans and spotless white shoes. Everything became pink and smelly. Oh, poor girl. She was crying so hard. I had a spare pair of sandals from Penneys, so I gave it to her. This made her so happy. And I was happy too that my crying alcoholist neigbour turned to be a charming beauty by the end of our journey. We hugged each other and waved goodbye at the Bangkok Airport.

So this is how I landed. My happiness level was already in the sky, and as an extra, someone ran after me at the airport asking for directions which (surprise surprise!) I knew the exact answer for! I was amazed how smart I was. Hahahaha. But that was the end of my success story. Whatever came after this was less funny. Indeed. It was a tragicomedy.
